The space*You will encounter our bug and spider friends- they help keep things in balance. This is closer to camping than a hotel room (read all details below!).*
BEDS — There is only 1 memory-foam queen bed at this site.
FAMILY & FRIENDS — If you have a group of 3 or 4 or simply prefer your own bed instead of sharing, then check out our new "Wild Fairy Inn" yurt site where we have TWO Queen beds, more space for activities, and a private outhouse. (Navigate to my profile by clicking on my profile picture, and scroll down to "Evan Outercamp’s listings").
KITCHEN — You will have a gas grill & side burner cooking setup with two 5-gallon water jugs, sink basin, and a 55-quart cooler pre-filled with ice.
POWER — Portable solar battery provides plentiful power for device charging, lights, and a standing fan.
HEAT — A propane heater is provided with 20lb propane tank for heating. Floor and ceiling are insulated, but the yurt is not a temperature controlled environment.
BATH + SHOWER — There is an outhouse about 100ft from the site that is shared with “April’s Treetop” guests. From April-October, you'll have a private outdoor shower right beside the yurt that is gravity-fed with collected rain water (not heated).
ACCESS — You will park about 100 ft away from the yurt and hike to it via a fairy-lit trail through the forest. NOTE you will drive on a mile of gravel road to get to the property that can be rough in a few areas. There is nothing steep, just chewed up and bumpy. (take it slow and you should be fine).
FIRE — Fires are allowed in the fire ring only. Gather your own fire material from the area surrounding your campsite, or purchase a fire starter and firewood to make things easy!
